The villa of Vignamaggio surrounded by its exquisite Italian garden, sits in a stunning corner of the Chianti countryside. The main part of the villa dates back to the 14th Century. Leonardo da Vincis famous Mona Lisa, the daughter of Anton and Maria Gheradini, was born at Vignamaggio in 1479. Apartments for 2, 4, 6 people, and some apartments are interconnected to accommodate larger groups. The Restaurant and Wellness Centre are excellent. Two pools are open during warmer months.
